>Mobile & Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic for Cats & Dogs

>Project CatSnip, a mobile and low-cost spay/neuter clinic for cats, will be coming to Griffin on Wednesday, March 30 at the Griffin Skate Inn.

Costs range from $40 for neutering male felines to $60 for spaying female felines.  Proof of rabies vaccination within the last 12 months is required, otherwise a rabies vaccination will be provided for $10.  Financial assistance is available by contacting 256-390-6187 or emailing zibeth58649@mypacks.net.

CatSnip is a project funded by the Atlanta Animal Alliance that has performed over 60,000 cat spay/neuters.

The Spalding Animal Shelter is partnering with the HELP Spay/Neuter Clinic to host a “Spay Day” for residents of Spalding County on Tuesday, April 5.   

The Snip Ship (a transport van) will transport Spalding County pets to the surgical hospital in Newnan, where they are spayed or neutered. 

All pets are placed under general anesthesia during surgery and receive a pain injection afterwards.  Each pet must be at the Spalding County Animal shelter at 8:30 a.m. on April 5 and will return April 6 at 10:30 a.m. 

Cost: Female dogs, $70-80; male dogs, $60-70; female cats, $55; male cats, $45.  For more information call Cindy Leopard at 770.304.7911.
