On Saturday, June 18, the Spalding County Parks and Rec department will host the Spring Kids’ Fishing Event from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. at Wyomia Tyus Olympic Park on Cowan Road. This event is for youth ages 5 to 12. Pre-registration is required.
Parent or legal guardian may register with child at City Park and Fairmont Park Community Centers or the Parks and Recreation Main Office.
For a great fishing experience, please bring a good fishing pole, bait, bucket, stringer, lawn chair and sun screen. Registration is limited to the first 100.
