Upcoming programs to improve business

The Griffin-Spalding Chamber of Commerce is hosting three upcoming programs that will help local small businesses and entrepreneurs:

Free Lunch & Learn on Tuesday, May 17th, 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Griffin Welcome Center.  “How to Modernize Your Business PCs” hosted by Liberty Technology and lunch hosted by Sam’s Club.

At 1:30 p.m. on the same day, (May 17),  there will be an Entrepreneur Marketplace until 6 p.m.  People interested in starting a business or already own a small business are urged to attend and talk to the vendors that offer services to small businesses.

“Maximum Money Class” is a five-week class that will start Tuesday, May 24, 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the UGA Griffin Campus. The cost is only $50 for the entire series:  Money 101-Where Do you Stand?; Understanding Financial Statements: Improving Cash Flow and Boosting Profits; Managing by the Numbers; and Developing a Strategic Financial Focus.  Call 770-228-8200 to register.
