On Saturday, March 24 the Candler Field Museum will host a Hangar Dance to benefit the museum. The theme for the dance will be the 1940s with an emphasis on WWII. The Modernaires, an 18-piece
orchestra from the Atlanta area, will provide 1930’s and 1940’s music. You are encouraged to dress in period attire although this is certainly not required. If you are not a dancer come and enjoy the music and fellowship. It will be a fun evening for all.
A silent auction will also be held throughout the evening. The event begins with a social gathering at 6 PM. A sit down dinner will be served at 6:30 and the orchestra will play from 7:30 PM until 10 PM.
Tickets are $50 per person and all proceeds go to the museum. Candler Field Museum is a nonprofit organization and all donations are tax deductible.
