Personnel of the Spalding County Sheriff’s Office have arrested 36-year-old Daniel Edward Keeley, a former physical education teacher from St. George’s Episcopal School located in Milner.
Authorities say Keeley, of 101 Four Oaks Drive, is charged with enticing a child for indecent purposes, child molestation, sexual battery and sexual assault. The charges brought against the suspect stem from an ongoing investigation involving a 14-year-old female student.
Investigators on Wednesday executed a search warrant at Keeley’s residence, resulting in the seizure of some evidence, officials say.
St. George’s students are currently on spring break, but the investigation remains ongoing and further interviews will be conducted when school resumes.
Keeley is being held in the Spalding County Jail.
