The Griffin Police Department is at the scene of a Monday night shooting that resulted in the death of one man.
“We have a shooting death investigation,” said Lt. Mike Richardson, of the GPD Criminal Investigation Division.
En route to the scene, Richardson is not yet able to say if the death will be ruled a homicide.
According to Spalding County Coroner Sonny Foster, the incident occurred at approximately 7 p.m. in the 600 block of West Broad Street.
