Griffin Ballet Theatre to present classic holiday favorite “The Nutcracker”


Please join Griffin Ballet Theatre and continue to celebrate its 20th Season of dance with the annual holiday tradition of The Nutcracker. Join Clara, Fritz the Mouse King,and the Nutcracker as they dance their ways into your heart!
This ballet features over 100 local, talented dancers from the ages of four to 18, and professional guest dancers from all over the southeast region.
The Nutcracker is a perfect way to start the holidays!
The performance schedule is 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2; 2 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29; and 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 30.
In honor of its 20th season, Griffin Ballet Theatre has many activities planned for this special weekend.
The Saturday matinee will have a special appearance by Santa Claus himself and a meet and greet session afterwards with The Nutcracker cast. Tickets for this show will be $5 for students. What a wonderful deal for kids.
The Saturday evening show will be a special Alumni celebration, and all past Griffin Ballet Theatre alumni are invited to attend this special performance so that we may honor and celebrate you. All performances will take place at the Griffin Auditorium at 234 E. Taylor St.
Tickets are available prior to performances at Studio D, 111 N. Hill St. or by calling 770.228.1306 to reserve your seating.
Tickets may also be purchased at the Griffin Auditorium on show dates.
Front orchestra tickets are $15 for seniors and students, $18 for adults; rear orchestra tickets are $12 for seniors and students and $15 for adults; and balcony seats are $10 for seniors and students and $12 for adults. Ω
