Yohance Hines, one of three suspects in Monday evening’s murder of 21-year-old Demarkis Willis, is now in custody. Two other suspects remain at-large.

Christopher Williams, who escaped from GPD custody following a Monday night shooting, is being sought on a murder warrant.

The Griffin Police Department has reported that Yohance Hines, one of three suspects being sought in connection with Monday night’s murder of 21-year-old Demarkis Willis, is now in custody.
Hines was arrested and taken into custody Wednesday, Nov. 26, at the GPD.
Officials say Hines, who had an active arrest warrant for party to the crime of murder, arrived at the PD with his father shortly after 3:30 p.m. and turned himself in without incident.
Hines is now being held at the Spalding County Sheriff’s Office.
Two remaining suspects, Cornelius Henderson and Christopher Amahjae Williams, remain at-large and should be considered armed and dangerous.
