A Wednesday night shooting at 610 Lane St., has left two people, including a young child, wounded.
According to Griffin Police Department Chief Steve Heaton, a three-year-old little girl sustained a grazing wound to the back, and the child’s mother sustained a gunshot wound to the buttocks.
Both victims have been transported to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
Investigators of the Griffin Police Department are on the scene and investigating the incident.
