According to Lt. Mike Natale, of the Griffin Police Department, one suspect, Devontae Young, was quickly apprehended after the incident with the assistance of the Clayton County Police Department, but Schnell remained at large.

Troisi provided Beckom with a contact in New York, and Beckom has since worked with the NYPD Fugitive Warrant Division in the Bronx to locate and apprehend Schnell.

On Monday, Aug. 24, Detective Horne and other officers from the NYPD took Schnell into custody at an address Beckom obtained from an anonymous tipster.

Scnell is now in the process of being extradited to Georgia where he will face charges of armed robbery, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and wearing a mask to conceal identity.
