The Henry County Police Department said its final goodbyes to one of its own Friday morning as K-9 Thorr was honored in a memorial service.
Public safety employees and citizens from the area gathered at Cannon Cleveland Funeral Home to pay respect to Thorr, who died as a result of injuries he sustained in a wreck Thursday, Jan. 9.
Officer Tyler Pilgrim, K-9 Thorr’s handler, and the Henry County Police Department express gratitude for the overwhelming outpouring of support given by the public.
The HCPD honors Thorr’s service and say he will never be forgotten.
