Griffin PD investigating numerous entering auto cases


The Griffin Police Department is investigating numerous entering auto cases that occurred throughout Friday night.

The GPD Uniform Patrol Division received several calls between 11:30 p.m. Friday and 6 a.m. Saturday.

The incidents occurred in the areas of West Quilly Street, West Slaton Avenue, Ellis Street, South 19th Street, North 9th Street and Woodland Drive.

Authorities say vehicles were damaged and items – primarily cash – were removed from the automobiles.
