The Griffin Police Department will be holding a ceremony in remembrance of the life of fallen Officer Kevin Jordan at 7 p.m. May 31.
The ceremony will be held at the Waffle House located at 1702 North Expressway.
The community is invited to join GPD personnel, as well as Jordan’s family and friends to remember to ultimate sacrifice he made doing what he loved to do.
Speakers at the ceremony will include Pastor Jerod Duff, of Rising Star Baptist Church, and Paston Milton Goggins, of Mount Moriah Baptist Church.
Law enforcement officers from all departments are also invited to attend the ceremony and are asked to meet at 6:30 p.m. at GPD Headquarters on Poplar Street to convoy to the Waffle House.
