BREAKING NEWS: One dead, one wounded in suspected murder/suicide attempt

The Spalding County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating what officials say appears to be a murder/suicide.
According to Capt. Dwayne Jones, one person is confirmed dead and a second wounded in the Spalding County shooting.
“We responded to a Cheatham Road address to a report of a shooting,” Jones said. “Preliminarily, it looks like a murder/suicide. Witnesses are being questioned. More information will be released as the investigation continues.”
The GRIP will report updates as additional information becomes available.
