The End of Watch Ride to Remember will be riding into Griffin at 4 p.m. today in honor of Griffin Police Department Sgt. Todd Thomas.
Thomas died Sept. 28, 2021, from complications of COVID-19.
The End of Watch Ride to Remember is a group of motorcycle riders from Washington state who escort a 40-foot trailer across country to honor the previous year’s fallen law enforcement officers.
In 2022, the Ride will honor 600 officers who died in the line of duty in 2021.
This year’s ride began June 1 and will travel almost 21,000 miles over 79 days.
The End of Watch Ride to Remember recognition for Sgt. Todd Thomas will be observed at the Griffin Police Department at 234 N. Hill St.
