A Griffin woman, 18-year-old Jaiden Chappell, is being sought by Pike County authorities in connection with a murder.
The Pike County Sheriff’s Office responded to 214 Patton Road at approximately 10 p.m. Saturday in response to a shooting that left one man dead.
The victim has been identified as 19-year-old James Knight.
Investigators are working to identify a second suspect.
Authorities say the incident occurred outside the Patton Road residence and allege it was related to an “illicit drug deal.
This is not believed to be a random incident with officials saying the suspects targeted Knight.
