Shelter, emergency essentials and emotional support is available.
The Red Cross is asking those in need of emergency assistance to call 800.733.2767.

Spalding County Emergency Management Agency Director Glenn Polk said the county’s Emergency Operations Center has been active since Thursday afternoon, and that first responders from surrounding counties have been arriving throughout the night to assist local responders.
State assets are being utilized during this process, Polk said.
There are confirmed injuries and extensive property damage countywide.
“We greatly appreciate the public’s interest and concern for our community,” Polk said. “For now, staying home so first responders can continue recovery efforts is best. We will continue to provide updates as we receive them.”
