Two suspects in October 2022 murder apprehended

Two suspects being sought in connection with an October 2022 murder in Griffin Crossings Apartments is in custody.

The Griffin Police Department and Spalding County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team on Tuesday executed a search warrant at the Griffin Inn and Suites located at 2010 N. Expressway.

As a result, Manderrius Brown, age 19, was arrested without incident.

A second suspect in this murder, Roosevelt Eric Crawley IV, whom officials identified as a “co-conspirator,” was also taken into custody Tuesday during a traffic stop.

Two additional suspects, Jordan Peavy, age 17, and Danny Evans, age 16, remain at-large.

Each of the four suspects has been charged with felony murder, armed robbery, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
