Three arrests have been made in connection to an alleged residential burglary that was interrupted by the homeowner.
According to a press release issued by Spalding County Sheriff Darrell Dix, the incident was reported Dec. 12, and occurred at 308 Sunset Drive Extension.
Upon arrival at that location, deputies found the homeowner detaining a suspect in the incident.
The homeowner reported he arrived home for lunch and discovered three subjects in the living room of his home.
He said two suspects fled on foot.
Officials say deputies located an additional witness who reported observing the two suspects enter the residence at 403 Fawnbrook Circle.
Deputies located two individuals at that location who were taken into custody and charged with the Sunset Drive Extension incident.
Arrested were 18-year-old Denmarikonie Shingles, of 112 Experiment St.; 17-year-old Twinoia Armstrong, of 403 Fawnbrook Circle; and an unidentified 13-year-old male juvenile who was arrested and released to his parents.
