Griffin-Spalding County School System announces closure through Wednesday

STAFF REPORT :::

The Griffin-Spalding County School System has announced it will be closed for students and staff on Tuesday, Jan. 17 as the community continues to recover from the tornadoes that struck Spalding County.

The school system was already scheduled to be closed Monday, Jan. 16, in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

School will remain closed for students on Wednesday, Jan. 18, but staff will report to work. Employees who are unable to report to work Wednesday should notify their principal or direct supervisor.
